Digital X-Rays

Digital radiography helps our dentists accurately and efficiently detect and diagnose dental problems. Digital X-rays use nearly 80% less radiation than traditional film X-rays provides our dentists with instant, expandable images. These high-quality images allow our dentists to get a closer look at your smile. Using digital X-rays, we can identify:

• Abscesses, cysts and tumors
• Tooth decay between teeth
• Infections in the tooth nerve
• Fractures in existing dental fillings
• Developmental abnormalities

Our dentists, Dr. Brian Henry, Dr. Jason Snapp and Dr. Michelle Lecklitner, can also use digital radiography to effectively plan your dental treatment. These images can also help our office work with other dental offices and specialists.

Laser Dentistry

At Tecumseh Dental Center, we are pleased to utilize Solea laser dentistry in Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Brian Henry, Dr. Jason Snapp and Dr. Michelle Lecklitner can use this technology to help treat both soft and hard tissue. The laser results in a more comfortable dental treatment with minimized bleeding and shortened healing time, and anesthesia is often not required for laser periodontal therapy. Our dentists may also use the soft tissue laser for gum contouring or soft tissue grafting.
