Dental Implants

If you are missing one or more teeth, dental implants are an excellent solution for restoring the function and beauty of your smile. Dental implants are permanent tooth replacements that replace both the root and crown of the tooth for a secure, naturalistic restoration. The dental implant is surgically placed by an oral surgeon in the jawbone to provide a stable foundation for the artificial tooth. Following a period of healing, your talented dentists will place the dental implant restoration. Depending on your personal dental needs and on how many teeth are missing, your dental implant restoration may be:

  • A dental bridge
  • A dental crown
  • A full denture
  • A partial denture

Your dental implant restoration will improve your ability to chew, eat and speak properly, as well as restoring the appearance of your smile. If you have any questions about how dental implants can repair your smile, we invite you to call us at Tecumseh Dental Center today.
